my birthday at the flower fields!

for my birthday all i wanted to do was visit the flower fields, eat delicious food, and go shopping. i checked all three off my list in a big way. despite being $15 freakin' dollars a person the flower fields were so much fun! they are rows and rows of ranunculus (my favorite flower) in the middle of carlsbad. it was the most perfect weather and we walked through the entire place and took way too many pictures along the way. for these photos i used my newer 85 mm lens which makes the creamiest backgrounds. the colors of the flowers almost look fake because they are so vibrant.
